Denpasar Sound – Fixed! Shin Tae Yong Strikes Out One Naturalization of Mojokerto Descendants, 3 Persib Pillars of the Indonesian National Team’s Option at the U20 World Cup
Ahead of the U20 World Cup which will start on May 20 2023, Shin Tae Yong has chosen 3 of several names of players who will be naturalized.
Three players who have been confirmed to be naturalized and have the right to strengthen the Indonesian national team at the U20 World Cup are Rafael Struick, Ivar Janner and Justin Hubner.
Of the three players, a number of pillars were officially crossed out by Shin Tae Yong because they did not meet the expectations he wanted.

One of them is a player of Dutch-Mojokerto descent, Zico Soree, who was dropped from the naturalization process for the U20 Indonesian national team.
Previously, Zico Soree was given the opportunity by Shin Tae Yong to take part in TC in Spain. However, Zico did not pass the selection.
This news was confirmed directly by the Technical Director of the Indonesian National Team, Indra Sjafri.
“Yes (Zico Soree) was crossed out,” said Indra Sjafri as reported by Suara.com, Friday (16/12/2022).
After eliminating Zico Soree and getting 3 players, Indra Sjafri will wait for Shin Tae Yong’s orders, whether to add more naturalized players or not.

“I or PSSI are waiting for coach Shin, if it’s enough, we’ll have 3, if there’s still more, add it, because all requests are in coach Shin’s hands,” he explained.

Apart from naturalized players, Shin Tae Yong also has a number of player options for the Indonesian National Team at the U20 World Cup.
Among them are three Persib Bandung players namely Robi Darwis, Kakang Rudianto and Ferdiansyah.
The three players are also part of the U20 Indonesia National Team which Shin Tae Yong is preparing for the U20 World Cup in Indonesia on May 20 2023.
Apart from often being entrusted with playing by Luis Milla at Persib Bandung, Robi Darwis, Kakang Rudianto and Ferdiansyah have also participated in the U20 Indonesian National Team TC in Turkey and Spain last year. (*/Dinda)
