The actor Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, surprised the creators of the series with his predictions.
They are already preparing the fifth and final season of Stranger Thingsa series that is very successful in Netflix. But even though it’s coming to an end, they have big plans for the saga. In fact, they have raised several stories to make a spin-off and the actor Finn Wolfhard guessed one of them that will follow the same characters 20 years after the events we are enjoying now.
In a recent interview on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the actor Finn Wolfhard reveals how he caught by surprise Matt y Ross Duffercreators of Stranger Things.
“And then they took me out… and said: That’s the idea. Who told you? And I was like: Nobody. And they said to me: what do you mean? Did it just occur to you? And I was like: Well, no, I just thought it would be a cool way to expand. It was a lot of fun, and they said, ‘Okay, well… Don’t tell anyone.’
He has several ideas for spin-offs.
A few months ago, the duffer brothers they admitted that they didn’t even Netflix know the details about their plans for the future. But there are some rumors that they want to do a series about Robin Buckely (Maya Hawke) y Steve Harrington (Joe Keery). Since they will create a story that is totally far from what we have seen so far. Therefore, it would be something more fun and everyday. Meaning they would remove the sci-fi and horror elements.
The other possibility is a reunion 20 years later, something similar to IT of Stephen Kingsince the story is divided when the protagonists are children and then they have problems with Pennywise of adults.
