Every time a new installment of a popular franchise is announced but exclusively for a console, PC fans begin to ask that it be released on that platform as well, even in later months. This sometimes blind hope even leads many players to create theories seeing hints of a possible port for the master race, in every tweet or interview.
Something that has been happening with the announced Final Fantasy XVI, which will not only be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console, but as we told you before, according to its producer Naoki Yoshida, the title will show all the power of the console again sony generation.

And it has been Yoshida himself who has denied all the theories of a possible PC version, indicating that at the moment no version of the game in development is confirmed for this platform and neither is it to be released after the exclusivity with PlayStation ends, on December 31, 2023. He even called on fans if they wanted to play the title , they will buy a PlayStation 5, although as a joke (But if they want to, isn’t it a joke?).
Bad news for fans of the franchise on PC, although there could still be some hope remembering that previous versions of Final Fantasy that were also exclusive to PlayStation, were released years later on this platform.
