Feyenoord can deal a huge blow to Ajax in the title race of the Eredivisie. The leader puts the reigning champion at a disadvantage of 8 points if it emerges as the winner of the two-way match.
For the first time in four years, spectators are again welcome at a duel between Feyenoord and Ajax in De Kuip. Steven Berghuis plays football for the first time as an Ajax player in a sold-out stadium of his old club from Rotterdam. He made a sensitive move in the summer of 2021 and faced serious threats.
Feyenoord has hung nets as a precaution to prevent supporters from throwing fireworks or other objects on the field. Many safety measures have also been taken around De Kuip, among other things to ensure that the arrival of the Ajax players’ bus goes without any problems.
Ajax has won the last six matches with Feyenoord in all competitions. The match starts at 2.30 pm.
