There is a serious shortage of general practitioners, and the existing ones often have a patient stop. Nevertheless, the municipality of Zwolle managed to come up with an extra GP, especially for Ukrainian refugees. “We receive almost 800 Ukrainians in Zwolle. Initially, the general practitioners in Zwolle took care of these people, but that is no longer an option,” says alderman Dorrit de Jong.
