The defendant Ferdy Sambo poured out his heart or confided in various issues circulating in the public about him. This was conveyed through pledoi at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (24/1/2023).
Ferdy Sambo brushed aside various issues, including issues of being a drug dealer, gambling to having affairs with many women.
The defendant in the premeditated murder case, Brigadier J (Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat), confirmed that all of these allegations were not true.
“I have been sadistically accused of torturing the late Yosua since coming from Magelang. Likewise accusations of being a drug and gambling dealer, having affairs and having unregistered marriages with many women, committing LGBT.”

“Having a bunker full of money up to the placement of hundreds of trillions of dollars in an account in the name of Yosua, all of which are not true,” said Ferdy Sambo.
Ferdy Sambo suspects that these accusations were deliberately spread to sway a sinister opinion against him.
So that the most severe punishment must be imposed without the need to hear and consider his explanation.
Ferdy Sambo said that he was about to give the title ‘A Vain Defense’ to his plea. Because they feel hopeless and frustrated due to the insults, insults, and ridicule received from various parties during the examination and trial.
He admitted that he felt that there was not even the slightest space to present a defense and had never witnessed such great pressure on a defendant as he was currently experiencing.

“Since the beginning I was placed as an interrogator in this case, various accusations have been disseminated in the media and society, as if I were the biggest criminal in human history,” he said.
However, he believes he will get justice in the trial through the discretion of the panel of judges in their decision. His current defense note is entitled ‘A Point of Hope in a Congested Courtroom’.
“The decision will determine the fate of my life journey, my wife, children and our family,” said Ferdy Sambo.
Ferdy Sambo is one of the five defendants in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by the public prosecutor.
The other four defendants are Strong Ma’ruf who is charged with imprisonment for 8 years, Ricky Rizal who is charged with imprisonment for 8 years, Putri Candrawathi (8 years), and Richard Eliezer (12 years).
The five defendants were charged with violating Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
