Denpasar Sound – PSIS Semarang coach, M Ridwan explained the reasons for playing Taisei Marukawa and Vitinho in the second round against Persib Bandung.
One of the reasons M Ridwan mentioned was because Taisei Marukawa and Vitinho tire easily and are not in good shape.
The reason given by M Ridwan after losing to Persib Bandung with a score of 1-2 was contrary to the previous statement.
Reported by Suara Denpasar from the old New Indonesia League, M Ridwan said that PSIS Semarang had a longer rest period than Persib Bandung.

“We have prepared ourselves quite well compared to the previous two matches. Against Persib later is our maximum preparation. Both in terms of time as well as in terms of player fitness,” Ridwan said at a press conference, Monday (30/1).
Meanwhile, after the match against Persib Bandung, M Ridwan reserved Marukawa and Vitinho for reasons of the player’s fitness.
However, when they were brought down, both of them displayed a slick game and made a name for themselves as goalscorers and assists.
According to Ridwan, Marukawa got tired easily in the last practice ahead of the Persib Bandung match, even though he had only practiced for 15-20 minutes.
“So this decision is actually to save Vitinho and Maurkawa from, for example, fatigue or injury,” said Ridwan.
