Rumors circulated that the police had just searched the room belonging to the suspect in the case of domestic violence (KDRT) Ferry Irawan.
The results of the search revealed objects that were evidence of Ferry’s atrocities.
Apart from that, the story also says that the discovery of this new evidence surprised Ferry’s wife, Venna Melinda, and her stepdaughter, Verrell Bramasta.
This claim was made by a Facebook account called Food Jadoel which was uploaded on January 17, 2023.

The account uploaded a video with a narrative containing the police having searched Ferry’s room and found new evidence.
“Venna Melinda Shocked!! Irawan’s ferry room was searched!! New evidence is starting to come to light,” reads the narration.
“VENNA & VERREL SHOCKED.! IRAWAN’S FERRY ROOM WAS SEARCHED THIS AFTERNOON. P0L1S1 FIND THIS OBJECT IN THE FERRY BAG. One by One Evidence of the Ferry Atrocity Revealed…” wrote the content thumbnail.

Based on an investigation by Turnbackhoax.id — the Suara.com network, quoted on Tuesday (24/1/2023), the news of the search of Ferry Irawan’s room and the discovery of new evidence is not true.
In fact, the narration and video in the upload of the Food Jadoel Facebook account contains the news of the divorce of Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda.
The content also contains gossip about Ferry not providing for Venna for the last three months.
When traced, there is a discrepancy between the content, video thumbnails, and content titles.
As for the thumbnail and title of the video, it contains a search of Ferry Irawan’s room.
Meanwhile, the content and narration that is displayed only reviews the economic situation of Ferry, which is called living together, so that it does not provide for Venna.
Ferry is currently languishing at the East Java Regional Police since Monday, January 16, 2023.
He was detained after Venna Melinda reported him for a domestic violence case which went viral.
When reporting her husband to the police, Venna brought evidence in the form of torn brown shirts, white towels, and blood found on the hotel floor.
Until now, the police have never searched Ferry Irawan’s room.
