Either you love it or you hate it. The Eysing PF 40 has a very particular look and tastes, as we know, are very personal. We therefore leave the aesthetic judgment to you and focus on the history and characteristics of this model.
It was presented in Amsterdamon the occasion of the Masters Expo held on the second weekend of December Eysing PF 40the result of the collaboration between the Italian design studio Pininfarina (mostly owned by Mahindra) and the Dutch company Eysing, founded in 2017 and specialized in the production of e-bikes and city scooters with a retro look. The company builds only a few units a year, which is why the production has not been automated but takes place by hand.
The Eysing PF 40 was built in homage to the motorcycles of the 30s but equipped with modern technological systems, giving life to a neo retro that lovers of the genre cannot fail to appreciate. The 2 kW electric motor it is positioned inside the rear wheel hub and is powered by a 1.72 kWh 48-Volt battery located in the lower part of the frame.
Autonomy declared by the manufacturer is around 100 km for the version with a 25 km/h top speed, while the 45 km/h one will certainly be lower. The charging time is instead of 8 hours with a standard charger, which is halved with the quick one.
The curb weight is only 60 kg, the brakes are drum brakes and the lighting is Full-LED. The price of the Eysing PF 40 is of 13.780 euro.
