CLARK COUNTY – An ex Playboy magazine model was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison for the murder of a Californian psychiatrist with whom he had sex.
Kelsey Turner, 29, who has appeared in Playboy Italia and Maxim magazines, was sentenced to between 10 and 25 years in prison in a Clark County, Nevada, trial for her role in the death of Dr Thomas Burchard.
According to the prosecution, Dr Burchard, who had had “transactional” intercourse with the defendant, was killed and put in the defendant’s car in March 2019.
Quoting a Las Vegas Review-Journal report on Thursday, Turner was charged last November with involvement in second-degree murder.

Prosecutors said Turner directed her boyfriend, Jon Kennison, to attack the victim when she was visiting the couple in Las Vegas.
Kennison beat the 71-year-old psychiatrist with a bat before being put in the trunk of a Mercedes-Benz linked to Turner.
Police say the victim traveled to Sin City to end a two-year relationship with Turner. The victim financially supports the defendant and their child, including paying the rent for the house.
“There’s definitely room for a lot of obscene speculation about the nature of the relationship,” Deputy Chief District Attorney Pamela Weckerly told the court at the sentencing hearing.
“I think the facts of this case show, however, with respect to Turner, that this is a transactional relationship, whatever the extent.”
