Suara.com – Erik ten Hag is confident that Manchester United will end their drought since 2017 as his team prepares for their Premiere League Cup semi-final first leg against Nottingham Forest.
The last time Manchester United won a trophy was in 2017 when they won the Europa League and English League Cup under Jose Mourinho.

“It’s about winning trophies,” said Ten Hag ahead of the match against Forest on Thursday (26/1/2023), quoted by the athletic on Tuesday (24/1/2023).
“We have a good chance (of winning a trophy), but we have to take it game by game.”

“Now we play Forest in two legs, we are now focused on the first leg. We are not thinking about another game because it will be annoying,” said the Dutchman.
MU’s performance began to improve under Ten Hag, they are the only English team that is still competing in four competitions, namely the English Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League.
Ten Hag said MU must bounce back after swallowing a 2-3 defeat in the Premier League against Arsenal. His team is now focused on fighting Nottingham Forest.
Ten Hag also announced that he is still unable to start Diogo Dalot, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial in the game against Nottingham. Meanwhile, Casemiro can be released after completing one suspension.
