ROME, 23 JAN – Record demand for the 4.3% green bond issued by ENI. The offer, closed early on 20 January, recorded demand for over 10 billion euro from over 300,000 investors, setting the Italian record for a single tranche corporate bond issue intended for retail. “The success of this operation has been extraordinary and surprising – said the CEO of Eni, Claudio Descalzi – For us it was above all a very strong response in terms of trust from the Italian public, and this is the aspect that it gives us greater satisfaction and which strengthens us”.
