Jelle Klaasen, winner in 2022, reached the semi-finals at the Dutch Open. The defending champion lost 2-1 in sets to the Belgian Andy Baetens. Klaasen still won the opening set 3-2, but didn’t win a leg after that. A round earlier, Dennie Olde Kalter from Hengelo had also been eliminated by the Belgian.
