Francesco, known as ‘Pecco’, Bagnaia after winning the Moto2 world championship in 2018, with the Sky Racing Team VR46, in 2019 made his debut in MotoGP riding the Ducati of the Pramac Racing Team. The following year he moved to the official Ducati team and finished the championship in second place, behind the French Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo.
