Loris Capirossi: “Marc Marquez? To date, Ducati doesn’t need him but…”
In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Ducati rider Loris Capirossi spoke about the hypothetical arrival of Marc Marquez in the red stable: “Don’t Ducati need Marquez? If I look at today, I would say the same too. Pecco Bagnaia he’s the champion, Enea Bastianini is the up-and-comer and they have many good riders. But with Marc you never know, if he fully recovers the question mark won’t be him, but the bike that Honda will give him. It’s always a question of results. And now all the best riders would like to ride a Ducati”.
The Borgo Panigale stable dominated the last MotoGp World Championship: “After the complicated period of the 800 and the return to the 1000, Dovi gave a nice hand and Gigi left his mark. But it’s not just thanks to one-two people: there’s a whole team, the engineers, including Domenicali and not forgetting Pirro, who did a great job”.
