From December 1 to 4, the city of São Paulo was the scene of the ninth edition of the Comic Con Experience (CCXP) that returned to the face-to-face version in 2022. And, of course, Disney was present with all its brands, promoting a great meeting with fans and starring in announcements about new productions that will arrive in 2023.
The place had spaces dedicated exclusively to news and releases that you cannot miss this 2023.
Elements, the new Pixar movie, opens in theaters
The presentation of the new Pixar movie, Elements, kicked off the Disney novelties at the event. The animation producer Denise Ream, explained the concept of the production and presented exclusive scenes of the film, which stars Amber, the girl of fireand Wade, the water boy.
You can enjoy the new film directed by Peter Sohn in theaters this 2023.
Pedro Pascal confirmed season 3 of The Mandalorian
For his part, Pedro Pascal, who plays the protagonist of the series The Mandalorian, was in charge of confirming season 3 of the production and giving more details about its premiereaccompanied by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni who connected via video conference.
The two Lucasfilm producers are responsible for the Disney+ Star Wars franchise series and made big promises for fans. The duo secured the participation of the character of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the new production season.
Season 3 of The Mandalorian premieres March 1, 2023 on Disney+.
Indiana Jones returns in 2023
The surprises continued at CCXP where an exclusive trailer for the fifth and final film in the Indiana Jones franchise was revealed, along with the reveal of its official title: Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate.
The film will once again feature Harrison Ford in the title role and also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, and Mads Mikkelsen. Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate is directed by James Mangold and its theatrical release is scheduled for June 2023.
Kevin Feige announced Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, appeared before a packed audience to warn everyone to prepare for the return of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Along with Zoe Saldaña, who plays Gamora in the film franchise, Feige exclusively presented the first production trailer that moved each of the fans present. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is directed by James Gunn and is scheduled for release in May 2023.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters in February
Hand in hand with part of the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, more news from Marvel Studios arrived.
The protagonists showed two previously unpublished scenes from the new film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. “It is the best welcome I have received in my life. I’m excited to be here with you,” said Paul Rudd. “Scott has been through a lot, so how about we see how he is at the beginning of the movie?”said the actor inviting the audience to see the trailer.
The new production will premiere in theaters in Latin America on February 16, 2023.
