Yes, you read that right, the Romanian operator has just announced a price drop that comes into effect today for new and existing customers.
Among the rates benefited by this fee reductionIn addition to the DIGI Unlimited and DIGI Combo mobile plans when contracted together with fiber, the popular PRO-DIGI 10 Gbps fiber stands out. In addition, the operator has announced a new SMART Fiber proposal with 500 Mbps for only 15 euros per month. Let’s see all the improvements in detail.
10 Gbps fiber drops to 25 euros per month
If 2022 ended well for Digi in terms of portability, 2023 could not have started in a better way. The Romanian operator has announced a significant drop in the price of its PRO-DIGI fiber, which goes from 30 to 25 euros per month.
In addition, it has launched a new SMART Fiber rate with 500 Mbps for 15 euros per month, which is available from today in areas where the operator is developing its own fiber network. With this, the catalog of SMART Fiber proposals of the Romanian operator looks like this:
Fibra Smart 500 Mb: 15 euros per month.
Smart Fiber 1 Gb: 20 euros per month.
PRO-DIGI Fiber: 25 euros per month.
Where Digi has not yet deployed its own fiber, customers can contract 300 Mbps for €25 per month or 1 Gbps for €30 per month.
DIGI Unlimited and Combo also lower their price
And not only are there new features in its own fiber proposals, it has also confirmed improvements in its DIGI Unlimited and DIGI Combo mobile phone plans when contracted together with fiber:
DIGI Unlimited: to call national destinations and navigate with 50 or 100 GB, they drop from 9 and 12 euros per month, respectively, to 8 and 10 euros per month.
DIGI Combos: to call national and international destinations and navigate with 50 or 100 GB, they drop from 9 and 12 euros per month, respectively, to 8 and 10 euros per month.
With this price drop, the new 500 Mb SMART fiber combined with the aforementioned mobile phone rates would look like this:
SMART fiber of 500 Mb + 10 GB on mobile: 20 euros per month.
SMART fiber of 500 Mb + 20 GB on mobile: 21 euros per month.
SMART fiber of 500 Mb and 50 GB on mobile: 23 euros per month.
All these improvements come into force today, both for new and current customers. Contract users will enjoy the new fees automatically and will see it reflected on their February bill.
New customers will be able to purchase these DIGI products from the operator’s website, at points of sale, at stands in some shopping centers and by phone, calling 1200, toll-free from the DIGI network, or 919 120 120, from another operator.
