The plan for the construction of 145 homes in Almelo was approved by the Council of State today. The objections of dozens of local residents have all been rejected by the Council. Local residents are mainly afraid that the old monumental water tower in the East Indies area will be less effective due to the houses. Particularly because one of the buildings that will be located in the new district will be much larger than originally planned.
