Demon Slayer season two is finally coming to Netflix, which is good news for those eager to watch the series in English.
On January 14, Netflix began running an announcement through the Demon Slayer listing on its streaming platform. The announcement notes that Demon Slayer season 2 is scheduled to arrive on January 21 and shows a scene from the first episode of the Mugen Train arc in which Rengoku helps some local residents of a village. It is unclear at this time whether or not this will include all episodes of the show’s second season or just the episodes that adapt the Mugen Train arc.
However, this presents good news for English dub watchers. Netflix has been known to delay the release of anime seasons until an English dub is available to them, barring simulcast shows like Komi can’t communicate.
This points to the fact that the Demon Slayer Season 2 dub will most likely be available alongside the Season 2 release, giving fans more options outside of Crunchyroll for streaming the series.
All of this comes as fans eagerly await the release of the third season. Confirmed to drop in April, the third season will also see its first episode released in theaters along with the final two episodes of season 2. Tickets are not yet available for pre-order or purchase, but are expected to be available to the public as the the dates of the theatrical functions are approaching.
