CASTELVETRANO, 21 JAN – Protected by the emotional belt of her maternal family, her partner Nino and her closest friends Lorenza Alagna, 27, has read the online newspapers full of photos and articles about her father, the boss Matteo Messina Denaro, who would never met, and told his relatives that he did not want to see him. From her family reserve it emerges that, at least for now, this is the young woman’s decision and that she will therefore not go to prison interviews to see her parent. Lorenza, Francesca’s daughter, is the only official daughter of the boss arrested after 30 years on the run and lived in her paternal grandmother’s house with her mother until 2013, then together they decided to sever the close ties and go and live elsewhere. Francesca, who bears her maternal surname, lives in Castelvetrano and on July 14, 2021 gave birth to a child who does not have the same name as his grandfather. The mafioso’s passion for women is well known. He had several girlfriends even while on the run, at least five known ones, and lots of flirting. From one of these relationships a son would have been born, in the early 2000s, of which, however, there is no certainty. Messina Denaro had told the doctors of the Palermo clinic where he was operated on for liver metastases that he “has two daughters who, however, live outside and that he has no other relatives”.
