He goes around saying hello to friends, strangers… ex-colleagues, one of whom is behind the wheel of a car. It is Isidre Esteve. He was one of the greats of the Rally-Raids and of the Dakar.
Very fast on a motorbike, the bete noire of the Spanish Baja, six times winner of the Aragon, eight Dakars in Moto with KTM, two fourth places and a very close fight with Marc Coma for the 2006 edition. Then an accident in Almeria. The wheelchair. But Isidre is back in the car and is back in his world. Thanks Gerini for having said goodbye to us… and then the end of the Special. Also this “singular”, certainly not easy, the happiness barely contained in shaking hands with Laia Sanz, very good. Mission accomplished!
