This Sunday night the edition 28 of the Critics Choice Awards from the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles California where the movie “Everything everywhere at the same time” won important awards such as Best Film, Best Direction for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinertas well as the award for Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Editing and Best Original Script, five awards in total.

Meanwhile, the award for Best Animated Film went to the Jalisco Guillermo del Toro for his tape “Pinocchio” in co-direction with Mark Gustafson. Another special speech that moved the audience was that of Brendan Fraserwho won Best Actor for the film “The whale”. “This movie is about love and redemption, it’s about finding the light in a dark place. I was in a wild area, but they found me. If you are in a dark ocean, I tell you that if you have the energy to stand up and go towards the light, good things will happen. Also during the gala Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for “Repository” y “Better Call Saul” it won for Best Drama Series.
