SASSARI, 25 JAN – “Alfredo will be dead on 20 April”. Angelica Milia, the trusted doctor who follows the health conditions of the anarchist Alfredo Cospito, on hunger strike for 100 days to protest against the 41 bis regime to which he is subjected in the Bancali prison in Sassari, does not mince words. Thus Milia comments on the news that the Cassation has set April 20 for the discussion of the appeal presented by Cospito’s lawyer, Flavio Rossi Albertini, to request the revocation of the harsh prison sentence for his client. “Such a long wait – the doctor reiterates – is not compatible with Alfredo’s physical conditions”.
