FLORENCE, 30 JAN – “This afternoon I will inform the Council of Ministers of the initiatives taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to guarantee the security of our diplomatic offices abroad. We have asked for security to be strengthened.” This was stated by Antonio Tajani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, speaking with journalists in Florence on the recent attacks on Italian diplomatic offices. “The attacks worry us, but this does not mean that the Government is willing to deal with those who use violence, it is unacceptable”, added Tajani, reiterating that the security measures of the Farnesina itself will be strengthened.
