ROME, 30 JAN – “Alfredo Cospito will be transferred to the Opera penitentiary in Milan”. This is what his lawyer Flavio Rossi Albertini reports. The transfer was ordered by the Department of Prison Administration. Until now Cospito was held in the maximum security prison of Sassari. “Cospito will be hospitalized in the pavilion of the intensified assistance service of the Milanese prison of Opera in consideration of his state of health”, explains Rossi Albertini. Al Sai is intended for prisoners suffering from serious illnesses. Yesterday Cospito’s trusted doctor, Angelica Milia, had argued that the prisoner was at “fibrillation risk”, in consideration of his weight loss, and had requested his transfer. (HANDLE).
