Actor Channing Tatum has the rights to a ’90s movie and wants to remake it with a twist.
Since a time ago, Hollywood he’s fixating a lot on 80s movies, but now it seems like they’re starting to raid the 90s. So that’s why the actor Channing Tatum wants to do a remake of Ghost (1990).
This has been revealed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair:
“In fact, we have the rights. Yes, we have the rights to Ghost, but we’re going to do something different. I think it needs to change a bit.” He said Channing Tatum.
The movie is very good, it may not need a remake and it may not need a twist either. So we will have to wait to find out what they invent.
What is the movie Ghost about?
Directed by Jerry Zucker (Land as you can, Top Secret!), the film Ghost is starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg y Tony Goldwyn. The story focuses on Sam y Molly, a couple who live happily in New York, but one day when they are walking at night a robber assaults them and after struggling, a gun goes off. Sam chases after the thief, but manages to escape, so he returns to Molly’s side and realizes what has happened. Since he has died from the shot and is now a ghost.

Sam decides to do everything possible to unmask the real culprit and for this he contacts Oda Mae Brown, a chatty seer who actually has the ability to see the dead. Together they must solve everything so that Sam can pass to the other life.
