One of the best actresses in Hollywood is Cate Blanchett, the Australian was a winner at the Critics Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Drama for the film “Tár”, which earned her the same recognition in the 80th edition of the Golden Globes for her Lydia Tár’s portrayal by director Todd Field.
In addition, the tape also earned her the distinction as “Best Actress” at the Venice International Film Festival, Therefore, the expectations of the film’s premiere in Mexico are very high.
The project will hit movie theaters in the country on February 23. Critics have highlighted Cate’s work in the fictional biography that provides a window into the life of a famous German conductor and composer, and places it as a favorite during the Oscars to be held on March 12, 2023.
“Tár” is a fictional drama, set in the world of classical music, which portrays the life of Lydia Tár, considered one of the greatest living composers/conductors and the first principal conductor of a major German orchestra.
