The highly anticipated Dead Space remake is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The remake renewed the visual aspect of the original and even dared to add new content. Is the possibility of playing it dubbed into Latin Spanish one of the many surprises that EA Motive prepared?
We at LEVEL UP had the opportunity to play Dead Space before its release on February 27 to prepare our review. Thanks to this we can confirm that the Dead Space remake does not have a dubbing into Latin Spanish.

If you like to play games in Spanish, you’ll be happy to know that Dead Space comes fully localized. In addition, it does have dubbing into Iberian Spanish with a cast made up of part of the cast of the original. Thus, you will be able to listen for the third time to Miguel Ángel Montero playing Isaac Clarke.

Why doesn’t Dead Space have a Latin dubbing?
Now, why doesn’t Dead Space have a Latin dubbing? This is a question to which, unfortunately, we do not have an official answer.
That being said, it surely has to do with the cost of doing professional dubbing work. Due to the above, many companies are satisfied with only delivering a dubbed version of their games, without much caring if it is made in Latin America or in Spain.

Of course, over the years, companies such as Xbox Game Studios, Ubisoft and PlayStation have allocated resources so that their games have dubbing into Iberian Spanish and Latin Spanish. Hopefully it is a trend that continues to become popular and that we have more and more games with options for the community in America and Europe.
