PESHAWAR – A suicide bomber detonated a bomb in a mosque in Peshawar Pakistan. A total of 17 people died and 13 victims are in critical condition.
Pakistan news agency reported this on Monday (30/1/2023), citing security services.
“A total of 17 people were killed in a bombing at a mosque in Peshawar Pakistan, and more than 90 people were injured,” the broadcast office report said.
“According to hospital representatives, 17 people died in the explosion, more than 90 people were injured, and more than 10 victims are in critical condition,” the report said.
“A total of 120 people were in the mosque at the time of the explosion, mostly representatives of the police and army,” said the Pakistani newspaper.
Earlier in the day, media reported that a suicide bomber carried out a bomb attack on a mosque in Peshawar, resulting in at least 90 people being injured and taken to hospitals in the city, 13 of whom were in critical condition and two policemen were killed.
