The police responded to a report of a robbery in a night shop on Van Zeggelenlaan in The Hague around 6:30 p.m. yesterday evening.
An employee there stated that a woman had threatened him with a sharp object. She wanted money from him, he told the officers. A struggle ensued in which both the robber and the employee were slightly injured.
Trail of blood followed
A trail of blood on the street gave away where the robber was going. Officers follow the trail from the store to a house on Goeverneurlaan, a few hundred meters away. A slightly injured woman was found there and arrested. She is still in custody today. It is unknown whether she could have stolen anything.
On Twitter, the police write that the woman may also have something to do with a street robbery on Saturday.
