Birdwatcher Johan Poffers is going to count birds in his garden, but hopes that the sparrowhawk will stay away

Bird watcher Johan Poffers from Hardenberg is ready for the annual national garden bird count of the Vogelbescherming, which starts today. And Poffers is not alone. Last year, 170,000 bird lovers in the Netherlands participated.
