In 2022 Ducati passed the milestone of 60,000 bikes for the first time in its history. Italy grows by 10% and becomes the main market for the Bolognese company

He wins on the circuits with the extraordinary MotoGP – SBK double but he also reaps successes on the market: 2022 is confirmed as a exceptional year for Ducatiwhich reaches the record of 61,562 motorcycles deliveredwith the sales up 3.6% compared to 2021.
In a press release, the Bolognese manufacturer announces that it has therefore exceeded 60,000 motorcycles sold for the first time in its history, with sales on the Italian market growing by 10% and a volume of 9,578 motorcycles; in second place are the United States with 8,441 units delivered, unchanged compared to 2021 (-6%) due to logistical difficulties but excellent news arrives from Germania which with 6,678 motorcycles sold grows by 9% on 2021, becoming the third market for Ducati.

Furthermore, the Ducati brand has never been so loved and desirable, also thanks to the extraordinary sporting results and the continuous commitment to making our Ducatisti feel part of a large and welcoming family.Achieving a sales result higher than the already excellent 2021 in such a difficult year for the entire system automotive industry, marred by serious supply discontinuities, particularly in the semiconductor world, truly represents an important measure of the flexibility with which all of Ducati has reacted, together with our suppliers and dealers.This flexibility has allowed us to contain the impact on delays delivery for our enthusiasts – whom I take this opportunity to thank for your patience and l to dedication – and therefore also to achieve this sales result. In my opinion, the team of women and men present at Ducati is the best ever and reflects the work done in recent years on the growth and enhancement of talent. The Multistrada V4 in all its versions it proves itself once again the most loved model with 10,716 motorcycles delivered worldwide, but the results of the monster familywith 7,971 units sold, followed by the Scrambler 800 family with 6,880 motorcycles delivered.

Another record is that of global sales network: 2022 saw the figure reach of 821 dealerships thanks to the addition of new dealers in Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador and Mongoliawhich led to the Ducatis being featured in 96 markets.
