As part of the construction of Section 3 of the Mayan Train, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) build two combined cycle power plants that will solve blackout problems in the Yucatan Peninsula.
This was reported by Javier May, in charge of Fonatur and the Mayan trend in today’s morning conference of the President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
May recalled that in the towns where the three will pass, more than a hundred social works and housing actions are carried out.
For his part, the director of CFE, Manuel Bartlett Diazreported that in addition to the two power plants, all the infrastructure is being carried out to carry the natural gas that is necessary for development.
“A pipeline is being expanded that brings gas from Texas, the cheapest in the world, that it will reach Dos Bocas and then it will join the new MayaKan gas pipeline to carry triple what was planned”.
Manuel Bartlett said that this work will be a true transformation of the south of the country.
This is because the central north of Mexico grows unevenly to the south and “this great work”, combined with the Tehuantepec Isthmus Train will transform and balance what was a broken country.
