The movie Predator: Prey was a tremendous success and actress Amber Midthunder reveals where the sequel stands.
In 2022 it premiered Predator: To the press, a film that was a prequel to the original 1987 story, as it was set some 268 years earlier. Therefore, it focused on a tribe of Native Americans and some fur trappers who receive a visit from the feared alien hunter and the young woman Naru (Amber Midthunder) bravely stands up to him.
Now, a lot of people are waiting for the sequel, but although there are certain rumors, no one has confirmed anything. At least, Amber Middle Dogs in an interview with Variety has said:
“I mean…I don’t have a date for you. This isn’t an announcement, but I’m not saying it’s not happening… We talk all the time about all sorts of things and that was probably one. Of course I’m interested to see where Naru’s story goes and I’m ready for a sequel. I loved that experience, I love that movie, and I’d love to see where else we can take it.”
Did you like the movie? There are many who put it at the level of the first… Here we leave you our review!
How could they continue the story?
Attention SPOILER. Predator: To the press ends with Naru (Amber Midthunder) killing the alien, but in the end credits we see how there are paintings where Native Americans have more contact with alien ships. Therefore, it should not be ruled out that a possible sequel shows these confrontations.
It has also been speculated that the second could be set in a different time in another part of the world. Hence Amber Middle Dogs I would not return and we would see samurai, Roman or Viking armies.
The movie Predator: To the press Is available in Disney Plus, like all installments of this science fiction saga. But also, we can see Alien and its aftermath.
