The video explains that they were locked up with their husband locking the door, even though his husband had not come home in the last few days.
The video was first uploaded by the TikTok account @sitirohmadayanti and re-uploaded by the Instagram account @berita_gosip.

Quoting from the comments column, a netizen gave clarity to her husband’s actions in locking up his wife and 8 children. According to the netizen, her husband was jealous because he was afraid of other men and when his four children went to school, his husband asked to be locked again from the outside.
“So the husband was jealous, he was afraid that his wife had another man, that’s why he was locked, then his 4 children at school told him to lock it again from the outside… so his husband was taken to the nearest police station.”
