After parliamentary debate, uncertainty about ending subsidy for solar panels

It is not clear whether the cabinet will receive sufficient support to abolish a subsidy scheme for solar panels. The coalition wants to get rid of the scheme that gives people money for electricity that they supply back to the grid thanks to solar panels, but does not yet have enough votes to get this through the Senate.
