Although right now the highlight of 2023 in terms of television series is The Last of Us, it seems that this is only the beginning of a wave of the most promising productions, since a series that is already being considered by critics as the best of the year.
We refer to Poker Facethe new television series created by Rian Johnson, filmmaker behind the popular Daggers in the Back saga that presents us with a new plot of intrigue and mystery for the small screen.

With the new from Rian Johnson recently released, the first evaluations have not been long in coming, where critics consider Poker Face the best series of the year so far (Obviously, the year has just started, so many series that aspire to be among the best of 2023 remain to be released).
Through Metacritic we have been able to verify that, at the time of writing these lines, Poker Face has an average score of 85, being slightly above The Last of Us, which so far has an average score of 84.
Of course, there is still a lot of series ahead, so these assessments may vary as new episodes are broadcast or more criticism is attached by the specialized press.
