During an interview granted to the microphones of the podcast NoGutsNoGalaxyPiranha Games president Russ Bullock announced that his development studio is working on a new single player video game set in the MechWarrior universe.
Bullock explained that the project it will be based on the system of the recent MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, however it will be a standalone video game that can stand on its own two legs. The official announcement will arrive only in 2023 forwarded, therefore for now the mouths are still sewn, but we know that Piranha Games aims to release the game over the next year.
Meanwhile, the development studio is finalizing the next MechWarrior 5 DLC titled Rise of Rasalhaguewhich will see the light in exactly two weeks: January 26th.
