In fact, in the world ranking prepared, which includes 233 countries, we can see how Spain is among the 35 countries. However still it is far from entering the top 10 from countries where it costs less than 1 gig of mobile data. Will the price of a gig in Spain continue to fall?
Just a few years ago, the price of a giga reached 9 euros. Today, it’s about 60 cents. The best of all is that, as we see in other countries around us, everything indicates that it will continue the drop in prices in Spainsince there are several European countries They have a lower cost per gig.
Without going any further, the average price for each gigabyte in Spain in 2019 was 3.35 euros. A year later, in 2020, it was 1.60 euros per giga consumed. And I continue going down until I reach position number 68 in the table with a price of 1.24 dollars, which in euros in 2021 the cost was close to 1 single euro. Therefore, it is clear that, over the years, we will continue to enjoy a decline in the prices of mobile data in Spain and, with this, it will be even cheaper to surf the Internet with mobile data on smartphones.
