The main coach of the Brazilian national team, Tite, feels confident that Neymar can still participate in this tournament. The former FC Barcelona player was seen experiencing swelling in his ankle.
“We are sure that Neymar will still appear, he will still appear at the 2022 World Cup. I was not aware of this problem at first. He has the capacity to overcome these problems,” Tite said as quoted by Reuters.
Rodrigo Lasmar, Doctor of the Brazilian National Team, said that Neymar’s condition would be monitored in the next 24 to 48 hours before determining the steps to be taken regarding this matter.
