A few days ago we told you that they had accused Isaiah Bradner Pokémon TCG player of cheating at the Baltimore Regional.
Good, Bradner just responded to these accusations on Twitter, claiming that he was not in a good mental state, and that caused him to make several mistakes during the tournament. He wanted to explain himself as well as possible and for this reason he drafted a document.
During the event I was not in a good state. I felt exhausted, had nasal congestion and migraines. Added to this is that he was nervous about all the events he had experienced during the first week at the university. During the game against Xander But I was asked to play faster, which meant that I didn’t take enough time to think through my moves. This resulted in him mistaking cards from the Trainer card.
Bradner admits, likewise, that in the second incident of which he is accused he also accepts it. And he claims that he picked up the card, even though it should have gone into his discard pile.
Bradner admits his mistakes and apologizes for not playing well, for being careless and says it will never happen again.
