Despite what many console gamers believe, there are millions of PC gamers who know how to enjoy their video games using controls from other platforms such as Xbox or PlayStation.
Controls that in PC game clients like Steam, are supported natively thanks to the configurations that Valve itself has developed for this.

List of controls supported by the gaming platform, to which the Joy-Con of the popular Nintendo Switch console will also be added. News that was delivered in an official Steam post, indicating that this support was implemented in the latest beta version of the client.
In addition, Steam indicates that it is improving the support that it had already added to the classic Nintendo Switch controls, which are used to play the classics on its Online service, including those of NES, SNES, Mega Drive and Nintendo 64. Something that surely Steam Deck owners will take advantage, since although there is no official information about their use on Valve’s console, there is no doubt that many will manage to use them.
