The heat does not rest and the second week of August starts with high temperatures, although this Monday storms will form again, especially in the afternoon and in areas of Catalonia, such as the province of Barcelona, in areas of the Pyrenees and Aragon. They could spread to more regions and watch out because they could return accompanied by hail.
Some intervals of low morning clouds are expected in the interior of Galicia and the western Cantabrian, in western Andalusia, the Strait area, the coasts of the southeast peninsular and Melilla, tending to slightly cloudy or clear. Clear skies will predominate in the rest of the territory.
On the west coast of Galicia and in areas of Levante we will find coastal fog banks. The temperatures will record few changes and will return to higher values than usual at this time, for example, in Madrid or Córdoba where they will reach 37 degrees, in Valladolid 36, 38 in Ourense and even 28-29 in Oviedo. On Tuesday, a few more degrees could be added.
Northeast wind in the northern half of Galicia and the northern plateau, western Cantabrian and the Canary Islands, with some strong intervals on the northwest coast of Galicia and the Canary Islands, and an easterly component in the Levante and Ebro Valley areas, and the southwest in western Andalusia, with a moderate west in the Strait; generally light variable winds in the rest.
