With his eyes fixed on the meeting that the Government will hold this Monday with the councilors of the autonomous communities on account of the energy saving plan that must come into force in 48 hours, the vice president of the Community of Madrid Enrique Ossorio has explained in Mirror Public what is your position.
The Community of Madrid has been the first to raise its voice against the energy saving plan, according to Ossorio “the Government approved the decree law and they went on vacation, they said: ‘Now these 84 pages are digested by you, merchants, businessmen. .. and apply it”. The vice president adds that “a series of doubts have been organized and they have been forced to call this meeting.”
It is a meeting that from certain quarters is interpreted as a “victory” for Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Ossorio clarifies: “It is a victory for all the people who during these days, after the Government approved the decree law without having consulted with nobody, they have raised their voices and all those voices have been successful. The Government has been able to return from vacation.”
For Ossorio, what is important is not so much what is clarified at the meeting but rather that “what has been done wrong in the royal decree law is changed” and he insists: “We already know this Government, I order and command. They have become accustomed to there are royal decree laws. What is desirable is that there be changes, that savings measures be agreed with the Autonomous Communities” but he continues: “What is going to happen, because they are not going to accept changing anything. I hope I am wrong, but I am very afraid that today’s meeting will be a paripé and nothing more”.
Ossorio criticizes that the Sánchez Executive “does things without thinking, first shoots and then points” and reproaches that it has made “completely uniform legislation for all the Autonomous Communities and all the City Councils”. Asked if the Community of Madrid will take the Plan to the Constitution, Ossorio has appealed to “wait for what happens at today’s meeting and depending on what happens we will see”. Of course, he has recognized that “we are talking about a royal decree law that comes into force and therefore everyone has to apply it. We always apply the rules even if we don’t like it”.
