Attention, virtual reality enthusiasts: Sony has shown new details of the viewer PS VR2officially presented lo last February. The hardware manufacturer focused onuser interface of its new headset, highlighting two features in particular: the transparent view e the playing area. The first feature, already adopted by other similar products, allows the user to see your surroundings without having to remove the viewer thanks to the integrated front cameras. It is worth noting that this function cannot be used to make recordings.
The front cameras will also be important for another function, namely the one that allows us to delimit the playing area. While the cameras will scan the area around us, the PS VR2 Sense controllers will serve us to highlight the boundaries. If during the game we will end up crossing these boundaries, we will receive a warning; particularly useful for those who want to avoid bumping into walls, lamps, televisions, bookcases and other possible dangers to personal safety and peaceful family coexistence.
The PS VR2 headset will also include various accessory modes. Through a PS5 HD camera, for example, we will be able to use the transmission mode for recover while we play, and maybe share our feats with friends and acquaintances. There VR mode will allow you to take advantage of game content in virtual reality with a 360 ° view, and 4000 × 2040 video format. Finally, in the Cinema mode Players can view the PS5 user interface and system, as well as all multimedia content and non-VR games, on a large virtual screen. Curious to know when you can get your hands (and your head) on the PS VR2? The release date has not yet been revealed by Sony, but it promises to share new information about it shortly. Fingers crossed.
