Some time ago we told you about a video game called Another Crab’s Treasure, which alluding to the popular soulslike genre that has become fashionable again thanks to Elden Ring, calls itself the first ‘shellslike’ video game.
You can read: This game about a crab struggling to get its shell back is the first ‘shellslike’
Genre invented by them and that alludes to the shell or carapace -shell in English- that the protagonist crab of the video game must recover and to the soulslike genre due to its mechanics and difficulty.
The game is currently in development, a job that obviously includes voice dubbing and sound effects. Something that a recent video of the creators Another Crab’s Treasure, shows that they are using quite creative and also quite funny means.
This is because, being a story that takes place under the sea, they must create aquatic sounds for the effects and also the voices. And to create the voice of a blowfish, the art director and head of the studio behind the game used a bowl filled with water where it makes various hilariously screaming sounds.
This can be seen and heard in a video they posted on his Twitter account.
