We bring an interesting message that has been published recently and is related to one of the most outstanding titles in the catalog planned for the hybrid console. This time we are talking about Sonic Frontiers.
Following comments on fan reaction to his “void” and on its duration and other details, the post below includes comments from an interview with Game Informer from Sonic Team’s creative director, Takashi Iizuka. He has confirmed what approach they are taking to fighting in the game.
You have them below:
In previous Sonic games, combat was like a tap that gave the high-speed action a sense of rhythm. This time, we’re adding a greater sense of tension and tactics to combat. All enemies have been designed based on tactics. Starting with Sonic at full power would make combat simple and repetitive, so we made it so that the player would gradually unlock Sonic’s abilities through the skill tree.
What do you think? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments. Finally, you can also find our complete coverage of this game, which is scheduled to be released by the end of 2022 no specific date, here.
