Panini Verlag will publish two novels in August Final Fantasy VII reissue and publish in a common, limited novel slipcase. Included here are “The look ahead” and “The Kids Are Alright“, both books in their German translation, of course.
This is particularly pleasing for the German book Der Blick vorn, which is out of print in many places and which was published a few years ago. Apparently there weren’t any reprints here for a long time.
Final Fantasy VII: Looking Ahead is the link between the end of Final Fantasy VII and the beginning of the animated film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The novel illuminates the two intervening years.
The Kids are Alright is about Evan Townshend who lost everything in the meteor fall two years ago and had to rebuild his whole life. In his case, that means he works for Mireille’s private detective agency, a small company that tracks missing friends and family members.
You know Mireille from Final Fantasy VII Remake and she’s not the only one: Kirie Canaan also has a prominent appearance here. The new novel slipcase is scheduled to be released on August 30th and costs 39.99 euros.
