Exports from the Cajamarca region grew 14% from January to April of this year compared to 2021, highlighted the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, Ana Gervasi Díaz, during her participation in the Decentralized Council of Ministers, which was held this Thursday 7 in said region.
“The total regional exports in the period January-April 2022 increased by 14% compared to the same period of the previous year. It is also important to highlight the tara, which was consolidated as the second most important agricultural export good in Cajamarca”, he stressed.

He said that, within the framework of the Cajamarca Regional Export Strategic Plan, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) supports the regional government and other actors in the ecosystem to promote the development and diversification of supply.
In this regard, he stated that various activities have been scheduled for this year, such as the development program for coffee chains in September, in San Ignacio.
