The National Superintendence of Labor Inspection (Sunafil) reported that a total of 2,935 companies were fined for not complying with the payment of bonuses corresponding to the months of July and December, during 2021 and so far in 2022.
The entity indicated that upon finding these breaches, it issued 4,061 fine resolutions, between the first and second instance, which is equivalent to a cumulative fine of S/ 21,681,263 million.

In this sense, Sunafil, in a press release, remarked that this July 15 is the deadline to comply with the payment of this social benefit, on the occasion of the National Holidays.
Likewise, he emphasized that failure to comply with this commitment is classified as a serious violation. He stressed that the fine can reach up to S / 20,700 for a small company and up to S / 120,152 for one that is not a mype.
“Together with the payment of the bonus, the employer must pay a bonus of 9% of the contribution to social health insurance and, in the case of workers covered by a health provider entity (EPS), a bonus of 6.75 %”, he detailed.
